How is RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) different from other organisations?
How is RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) different from other organisations? I am aware of other organisation also but the RSS is which states that it wants to reach a state where the Hindu society organises itself naturally and the need for a separate organisation becomes unnecessary. The RSS swayamsevaks work as catalysts in the process. In Hindi the swayamsevak say “ Samaaj mein sanghathan nahi, Samaaj ka sanghatan” apna kaarya hai. Therefore, even though it is the world’s largest voluntary organisation, it is not satisfied. 2 . The RSS does not collect external funds for its existence. The entire organsiational activities are self-funded by its swayamsevaks. On being asked whether RSS was a para-military organisation, Sri Golwalkar, the 2nd Sarsanghchalak ( President ) of RSS said, “ We are an extended family organisation”.
